Juris Germanas, MD
Juris P. Germanas, M.D. was educated at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas and graduated in 2002. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas in 2006. Dr. Germanas is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and, is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is also a member of The Maryland Dermatology Society. He has been published in sixteen academic journals including Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Antimicrobial Agents, and Chemotherapy, among other journals. He specializes in diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, pediatric dermatology, and dermatologic surgery.
Suzanne Cerrone, NP
Suzanne Cerrone is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with over six years experience in health care. Suzanne obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY, and worked for several years as a charge nurse in the Emergency Department at Howard County General Hospital. After deciding she wanted to use her experience to provide a higher level of quality care, Suzanne obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. Pursuing her goal of diagnosing and treating the many conditions of the skin, Suzanne joined Maryland Dermatology Associates in 2014. Suzanne sees patients in the Mt Airy and Westminster locations, and is particularly interested in general and cosmetic dermatology in adults.
Amy Spangler, PA-C
A native of Western Maryland, Amy Spangler is an NCCPA-Certified Physician Assistant with considerable experience in diagnosing and treating conditions of the skin. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, and her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Nebraska, she has practiced dermatology since 2003 at offices in Greenbelt and Ellicott City, MD, before joining Maryland Dermatology Associates in 2015. Amy has experience in pediatric, adult, as well as cosmetic dermatology, and is especially interested in managing cancers of the skin. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and is currently seeing patients in our Westminster and Mt. Airy offices.
